Lori Deeley is a visual artist, art therapist, and art educator based in Kippens, Newfoundland, Canada. Deeley is deeply influenced by her surrounding landscape.  Daily explorations of the wild landscape and waterscapes are expressed through painting, drawing, animation and installations. Central to her work is the emotional and intimate response she has to the landscape and local community. Her artmaking practice is a meditative process to slow down, take notice and deeply observe the world around us. The immediacy of watercolour and ink as a medium suit this practice and process.
