Lori Deeley
Lori Deeley is a mixed medium artist, art therapist, and art educator based in Kippens, Newfoundland. Central to her work is the line, light, and texture of the natural landscape. Her daily explorations of the wild landscapes and waterscapes of Newfoundland are revisited in her work in the studio.
Lori earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts/Art Education from NSCAD University in 1993.
Since graduation, she has participated in over 20 group and solo exhibitions. Most recently, Lori completed a residency and exhibition at Grenfell University Art Gallery funded by ArtsNL. In 2021, her piece ‘Pond Edge’ was purchased for the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Art Bank and is available for viewing at The Rooms in St. John’s, NL. In 2022‘Grand Lake’ was purchased by the St. John’s Art Procurement for their permanent collection.
